Basic Applied Kinesiology Certification Course 2019/20

This course is for doctors and students licensed for diagnosis who want to practice Applied Kinesiology. More doctors are including this fast-growing speciality as a valuable addition to their profile in assessing and treating patients. The seminar consists of classroom instruction with a significant workshop component.

For 2019-20, this course is being taught in Toronto only.

About the Course
Now in its ninth year, Dr. Jay Grossman's popular Basic AK Certification Course is designed for busy schedules, five weekend-long sessions are spaced out from October to March.
  • Basic AK certification requires completing 100 hours of coursework. The program is a blend of classroom and hands-on instruction along with home study.
  • Those wishing to be certified upon completion of the course can take the certification exam (a small fee payable to the International College of Applied Kinesiology may apply). A certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of the examination.
  • Each weekend will be comprised of 20 hours of material (combined instruction and home study) for a total of 100 hours over the five weekend sessions.
  • CE Credits for Ontario DCs and NDs may be possible (number of credit hours to be determined).
  • A basic note package will be provided.
  • It is highly recommended that all attendees purchase Dr. David Leaf’s Applied Kinesiology Flowchart Manual, a more in-depth and inclusive manual. For those wishing to read ahead, a reading list will be provided prior to each session based on Dr. Leaf’s Flowchart Manual.
  • The seminar will consist of classroom instruction with a significant workshop component.
  • Prerequisite: Doctors must be licensed to practice in a regulated healthcare profession such as DC, ND, MD. Students must have completed the second year of a professional program.
